The endless motion was used in order to give the game a relaxing mood as they go through each of the levels.

The game will be designed around a city type of environment where you are controlling a car. There will be mechanical checkpoints that you must collect in order to beat the level. Controlling your momentum is key because as the levels speed up it becomes more difficult. The “Racing” aspect connects with the difficulty of each level as the speed increases on the car. The “Safety” aspect ties to the design of the game because you must collect each mechanical part or “flag” in order to keep your car running and safe.

The game will be designed in a cartoonish city with calm colors. The idea is to have a relaxing aesthetic so that it defuses the intensity of the car racing. The goal is to make it feel like an arcade game that you play with your friends to compete on who is better. Overall I want the aesthetic to be simple and calming so that there isn’t too much going on in the background.
